Best find ever in the Standard Wreckers UPIC yard?
Just curious what the best find anyone has had over the years? I remember about 4 years ago I grabbed a hood and seat from a free parts day and found a plastic baggy under the seat with $6 in quarters!! So not only did I get some good parts for 50 bucks but got a little cash prize also!! hahaha

Best find I ever had was in the 1961 Buick Electra that’s still there in the Toronto Upic yard. Seems like whoever owned it was a telephone worker as there were 3 never used in the box vintage rotary phones dating from the 60’s. I ended up grabbing them on a free parts day and sold them to a collector for a decent amount. There was a bunch of other cool 60’s memorabilia in there too like unopened pop can’s vinyl records, 8 tracks, a drive in theater speaker (what??) etc. Plus I was able to use a bunch of the NOS parts also found in there on my 1961 Cadillac, does it get any better then that?!

Forgotten tools are also a nice bonus. I’ve found a few screwdrivers and such left under hoods or stuck in the mud.
Best find I got was 3 pairs of high end speakers and tweeters. All Kaption. Paid $35 for all. Can’t beat that ?
