1. If my car needs some part replacements, should I still donate the car? Will the car still be of use to a non-profit organization?
2. How is the value of the donated car be determined?
3. Can I take the receipt from the organization that take in my donated car for tax credit when I do my income tax?

Hi John

1. Yes! Usually we scrap the car or put it in the UPIC yard for a bit then scrap what is left.
2. We donate the scrap value to a charity of your choice.
3. The charity themselves will issue you the tax receipt at the end of the year.
